Q: Is there a right way to hold a pen?

Hello! For those of you who are learning Car Design, CDA instructor is going to share some techniques today.  

Q: Is there a right way to hold a pen?

As same as your drawing speed and pen pressure, how to hold a pen is important for drawing Car Sketch. I prefer to hold a pen at this position which is shown in the image below. The holding point is slightly higher than the 50/50 line of the pen.

When you draw car sketch, your posture and movement coming from the shoulder rather than the wrist are also important.
